RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend and night call requirements
• 2 years catheterization lab/procedural/sedation experience required
• NY RN license required
• Provide assessment, monitoring and intervention for cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterization, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, structural heart procedures, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella and EKOS
• Serve as member of Emergency On Call Team (STEMI Team)
• Administer oral and intravenous medications to patients
• Manage patients under sedation and monitor for adverse reactions
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical site care, lifestyle, medications, and postoperative information
• Manage paperwork including patient consent forms, charting, lab results and procedure documentation
• Collaborate with other medical staff as needed
