RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - South Carolina

Job Details

Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Location: University Parkway, Aiken, South Carolina
Travel Requirement: Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility

Unit Description

Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
Use of advanced critical care technology including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system

Job Responsibilities

Provide patient care in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
Address needs of patients, families, and community through various patient care functions and tasks in the ICU setting
