Description

ICU RN

Overview

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, evenings, or nights; every other weekend
Hours: 36 hours per week
Floating required: Yes, primarily to medical/surgical units
Rotation: Day positions may rotate between multiple day/night schedules when needed

Specialty Experience

2+ years of adult ICU experience
2+ years of continuous work experience in one location, preferably in a MICU
Continuous MICU experience required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ability to read telemetry strips

Unit Details

20-bed medical/surgical ICU
Level III trauma center
Adult patient population
RN-to-patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:2 with high acuity; 1:4 to 1:5 when floated
