Description

RN (Registered Nurse)

Location

  • Bridgeport, West Virginia

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Every other weekend
  • Holidays in rotation with permanent staff

Setting

  • Hospital-based float position covering ortho units
  • May float to med/surg or stepdown-type patients if assigned to critical care

Required Qualifications

  • RN license in West Virginia or a compact license
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with med/surg and low-level ortho patients
  • Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
  • EPIC familiarity

Additional Details

  • 1–2 shifts of orientation with a preceptor
  • Patient ratios are mainly 1:5–6, with occasional 1:7 toward the end of a shift
  • Scrub color: royal blue
  • No false nails
  • Driver’s license copy required with submission
