Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Contract length: 13 weeks
Employment type: LTA
Schedule: Day rotation with evening and night rotation as needed; every other weekend; 1 night of call
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
EFM
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum experience

Preferred

ACLS

Unit Details

Labor and Delivery / Postpartum unit
25-bed unit
Includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, 2 ORs, 2 recovery rooms, and 2 ANU rooms
Typical patient ratios:
- Labor & Delivery: 1:2-3 for evaluations
- Active labor: 1:1
- Postpartum: 1:3-4
