Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography

Job Overview

• Location: Jackson, Michigan
• Schedule: 6:00 PM–6:30 AM EST
• Shift length: 12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Call: Not required
• Block scheduling: Available if weekends are included
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Performs computerized tomographic radiological procedures under general supervision
• May also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations
• Prepares patients and procedure rooms, operates CT equipment, administers intravenous contrast, supports sterile procedures, assists with complex diagnostic procedures, and completes imaging and documentation workflows

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• BLS
• ARRT (CT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, and an Associate degree in Applied Science in Radiology
• Experience in a hospital setting
• Peripheral IV insertion experience or willingness to obtain training

Work Environment

• May occasionally lift or move equipment or patients over 10 lbs
