PACU RN
Location
Louisville, Kentucky
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift
- 12-hour shifts
- Call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- 2 years of PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Lithotripsy (litho) experience
- Experience with Epic
Schedule Details
- One weekday call shift: 7p–11p
- Weekend call: no more than every 6th weekend, 7a–7p Saturday and Sunday
Job Responsibilities
- Performs assessments and reassessments
- Initiates, prioritizes, implements, reviews, and revises the plan of care
- Collaborates with patient/family and interdisciplinary services
- Monitors and documents response to clinical interventions
- Provides and coordinates patient and family education
- Delegates tasks, mentors/precepts staff, and supports teamwork
- Participates in quality, safety, service improvement, and regulatory compliance efforts
