Contract Length

22 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• BLS through AHA
• At least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience
• At least 1 year of experience at a like-sized facility with 450+ beds

Work Setting

• Medical-surgical nursing care
• Floats only to other medical units
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and care planning
• Communicate with the interprofessional team
• Manage IV therapy, heparin and insulin drips, wound vacs, feeding pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and heat/cooling pads

Orientation

• Jump Start orientation includes 1 day of general hospital orientation and approximately 5 days of nursing orientation
• Epic classes are included

Additional Notes

• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Local clinicians within 50 miles are subject to a 12% rate reduction
• Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment
