RN Orthopedics
Location
- Louisville, Kentucky
Contract
- 14 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Orthopedics experience within the last year
- 1 year of Orthopedics experience
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
- Provide direct patient care, including nursing rounds, treatments, and care coordination
- Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, discharge, and care plans
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
- Delegate and oversee patient care tasks within scope of practice
- Support discharge planning and coordination with Case Management
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
