- 12-hour shifts
- Nights: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
- Management provides scheduling
- No block schedule or set patterns
Unit Overview
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 15 beds
- Typical patient ratio is 1:5
- Charge nurse may take a modified assignment or a full assignment if needed
- CNA support is staffed on the unit
- No telemetry on the unit
Patient Population
Cares for patients recovering from major surgeries, strokes, and multi-trauma, with a focus on rehabilitation and functional improvement.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS certification
Experience
Med-surg experience is preferred, but not required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to float to the inpatient setting when overstaffed
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of 50+ lbs during shifts
Licensure Note
Non-Oregon licensed RNs may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if their permanent license is not posted before the assignment start date.
