Registered Nurse — Operating Room

Location

Rockford, Illinois

Contract Length

15 weeks

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
BLS certification
At least 3 years of operating room nursing experience
Must provide the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off for submission
Must be able to produce a negative drug screen

Schedule

8-hour shifts with various start times
Call is required approximately once per week
Weekend call is required every 3rd to 4th weekend
Holiday call is required

Unit Details

15 operating rooms
Average daily case volume: 25–45
Scrubbing is required for RNs
Charge RN is present 24/7 and does not take a patient assignment
Floating is not required

Orientation

12 non-billable orientation hours
Unit orientation includes 1 week plus additional shift-specific orientation

Additional Notes

Scrubs are provided
Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate adjustment
The facility is a drug-free campus
