Description

Computed Tomography CT Technologist

Overview

Temp assignment in University Parkway Aiken, South Carolina.
12-hour day shift, 36 hours per week.
Schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday coverage.
Must live 100 miles away.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina.
CT Technologist experience within the last year.
2 years of CT Technologist experience.
Associate's degree or equivalent.
BLS.
ARRT (CT).

Work Setting

CT department at hospital.
Must do both CT and Xray on Saturday at Sweetwater FED.

Responsibilities

Operate CT and radiographic equipment.
Analyze body habitus to adjust technical factors.
Position the body correctly.
Review physicians orders.
Obtain pertinent clinical data.
Produce high-quality radiographs while reducing unnecessary radiation to patients and self.
Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and codes.
Schedule and complete exams.
Enter correct charge codes.
