Neuro/Sleep Clinic RN

Role Overview

• RN role based in the clinic tower.
• Unit has around 20 exam rooms and 9 sleep labs, with an average of about 50 patients per day.

Schedule

• 8 hour days
• Monday through Friday
• No call
• No weekends

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Clinic (2 years of experience)
• Clinic experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro experience preferred
• Clinic or med surg experience is acceptable

Responsibilities

• Medication refills
• Checking PDMP
• Ensuring patients have follow-up visits
• Communicating with patients regarding labs, medications, and test results
• Portal messages
• Assisting physicians with hypoglossal nerve stim patients, activation, and changes
• Working with adult and ped neurology providers
• Power plans and proposing orders
• Completing prior auth work
• Coordinating patient care
