Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient contract in Silt, Colorado.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting focused on rehabilitation therapy
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts per week; days will vary with no weekend requirement
- Patient care focuses on improving strength, ROM, balance, safety, and function across a variety of diagnoses
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience required; 3–5 years preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact license valid for Colorado required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- DOB or SSN required for consideration
- Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- The clinic is expanding its rehab staff to reduce patient wait times due to increased volume
- Colorado CAPS (CBI background check) registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should begin this process as early as possible
