Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient contract in Silt, Colorado.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting focused on rehabilitation therapy
• Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts per week; days will vary with no weekend requirement
• Patient care focuses on improving strength, ROM, balance, safety, and function across a variety of diagnoses

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required; 3–5 years preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact license valid for Colorado required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
• Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
• The clinic is expanding its rehab staff to reduce patient wait times due to increased volume
• Colorado CAPS (CBI background check) registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should begin this process as early as possible
