Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position requiring at least one year of recent ER experience and CPI certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital environment
• Provide care to a diverse emergency and trauma patient population
• Night shift position with hours from 2:45 PM to 3:15 AM
• 12-hour shifts on a travel contract assignment
• Responsible for delivering emergency care and responding to acute patient conditions
• May be required to manage aggressive or behavioral health patients using approved de-escalation techniques
• All certifications must remain valid through the first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required; SAMA, MAB, or equivalent may be accepted based on facility policy
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• Must provide complete employment history without gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs) and date of birth required for consideration
• Copies of certifications and license verification required
