Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in North Carolina requiring an active NC or compact RN license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital
• Work involves care for a diverse emergency patient population
• Shift is 2:45 PM to 3:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include providing urgent and emergent care to patients in the ER setting
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• A US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
• Candidates must ensure all certifications remain valid for at least the first 30 days of the assignment

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the ER specialty required
• At least 2 years total RN experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent certification required for ER staff
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must be eligible for employment in the US with a valid Social Security Number (no Canadian SSN accepted)
