Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic radiology and ARRT (R) certification for a busy hospital radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a large hospital radiology diagnostics department
• Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM
• Department covers all diagnostic imaging, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical procedures
• Equipment includes GE X-ray, portable GE and Shiatzu, OEC C-arms, Medtronics O-arms
• EMR used is Cerner Rad Net
• Staffing varies by shift, with evening shift comprising 10 technologists, 2 student techs, and a supervisor
• Weekend rotation required
• Typical daily duties include diagnostic X-ray exams, portable and trauma radiography, surgical imaging, and fluoroscopic procedures
• Experience with fluoroscopic procedures is preferred
• Black scrubs are required
• The ideal candidate is a team player who is also self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Large, supportive department with 24-hour staffing
• Floating may be required within clinical scope as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Skill in all areas of diagnostic X-ray including portable and operating room imaging
• Experience in emergency department trauma imaging required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• License required if applicable
