Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for night shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care radiology department specializing in CT and X-ray
• Float between CT and X-ray modalities as needed
• Patient volume in CT averages 110-130 cases per day
• Equipment includes Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 CT scanners, Carestream X-ray machines, and portables
• Night shifts are 10 hours with varied start times between 1800-2000
• Every other weekend shifts and required on-call coverage, typically nights or evenings starting standby at 1500 or 1800 for 12 hours on weekends
• Must be flexible to float between CT and X-ray as needed during shifts
• Scrub color is teal
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year unless previously employed PRN through an outside agency
• Weekend and on-call coverage required as part of the schedule
• Permanent residents of AZ, NV, NE, IA, and MN must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Assignment is for 13 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CT
• Active BLS certification
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active State Radiologic Technologist license for the state of employment; license required if applicable
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references: one supervisor from within the past 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the past 3 years
