Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a current MA RN license and BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
Work schedule is 3x12hr shifts, 3:00am-3:30pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays
Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
Use of Epic EMR charting system is required
Provide care and monitoring for laboring mothers and newborns in the delivery unit
Rotating holidays are part of the schedule
Parking may require use of public lots or transportation and may involve daily fees
Local candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to receive standard travel pay rate

Requirements

Active and current MA RN license is required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
Valid BLS certification through AHA is required
NRP certification through AHA is required
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (AWHONN) is required
Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required
Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
