Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a current MA RN license and BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Work schedule is 3x12hr shifts, 3:00am-3:30pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
- Use of Epic EMR charting system is required
- Provide care and monitoring for laboring mothers and newborns in the delivery unit
- Rotating holidays are part of the schedule
- Parking may require use of public lots or transportation and may involve daily fees
- Local candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to receive standard travel pay rate
Requirements
- Active and current MA RN license is required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Valid BLS certification through AHA is required
- NRP certification through AHA is required
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (AWHONN) is required
- Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required
- Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
