Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Telemetry position in a float pool, requiring AZ or compact license and two years of recent telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital float pool, providing care across MS/Telemetry units
• Patient ratio is 6:1
• Requires floating between four hospitals within the network
• Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., three 12-hour shifts per week
• Must work six weekend shifts within each six-week schedule
• Responsibilities include shift accountability, applying the nursing process, delegating tasks, and supervising assigned staff
• Clinical competencies must be maintained through ongoing education
• Limited RTO accepted; requests must be for fewer than seven days
• Previous travelers who worked as perm staff within two years are not eligible

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (none expiring within 30 days of start)
• Minimum two years of recent telemetry experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• Not eligible if worked as perm staff at any CHS facility in the past two years
• No local travelers permitted within a 50-mile radius
