Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position, requiring a current or compact NH RN license and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • 13-week assignment
  • Direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
  • Assessment, care planning, and implementation under physician direction
  • Defined workweek runs from Sunday morning through Saturday night
  • Must maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Responsible for providing patient assessment, care planning, and documentation
  • Expected to interact positively with team members and provide culturally sensitive care
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Local candidates are accepted with a lower local rate

Requirements

  • Active NH or compact RN license required or eligibility to obtain
  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
  • Minimum 3 years of emergency department nursing experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • CPI certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Physical ability to perform patient assessments and medication administration
