Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for weekend night shifts with strong trauma and stroke experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based CT department
• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call required one shift per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• 13-week contract assignment
• Operate CT and radiographic equipment, adjust technical factors, and position patients for high-quality images
• Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, managing supplies, and responding to contrast reactions and codes
• Schedule and complete exams and accurately enter charge codes
• Must be able to review physician orders and relevant clinical data
• All certifications must be current at time of submission
• Local candidates within 100 miles will not be considered for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT experience in a U.S. hospital, including trauma and stroke cases
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and Associate's Degree or equivalent
• Current ARRT RT(R)CT certification required
• Active, non-pending state or district license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
• U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
• Two professional references preferred, at least one from the most recent employer
