Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT(CT) certification, NYS license, and IV contrast injection skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a CT department performing X-ray and CT scans with contrast
• Schedule options include Fri or Mon/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Call is required during the assignment
• Equipment includes Philips and uses Fuji Synapse PACS and Paragon (Citrix Product)
• Must be able to start own IVs for contrast scans
• Flu vaccine or signed declination is required by 10/31; mask use is required for decliners
• COVID vaccine is not required but proof or declination must be provided
• Call is required as part of the schedule
• Local travelers within 60 miles are accepted

Requirements

• Current ARRT(CT) certification required
• Active NYS license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience with IV insertion and contrast injection is required
• Completion of 2 CEUs on a stroke-related topic required prior to start
• License required if applicable
