Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT), BLS, and 1 year of acute care experience for a Level 2 trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital CT department
• Two Siemens CT scanners are used, including a 64-slice and a 40-slice with fluoroscopy capabilities
• Perform inpatient, outpatient, and ER imaging, including CTA, biopsies, stroke imaging, and coronary CTAs
• Average caseload is approximately 45 scans per day
• Shift is 12 hours, nights, with weekend and holiday rotations
• May float to transport or to other radiology areas within certification
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Duties include conducting a variety of imaging studies such as CTA, biopsies, IR, stroke, and coronary imaging
• Successful candidates should demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and strong work ethic
• Department provides a supportive and knowledgeable team environment
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• One week of unit-specific orientation provided
• Holiday coverage is required
• Candidates may not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the previous year unless PRN through an outside agency
• Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Up to 7 days of requested time off may be approved if submitted upfront; no additional RTO allowed during contract

Requirements

• Active ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Valid ND state license required if applicable; pending licenses and certifications are not accepted
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care/trauma setting
• Must be able to start IVs or be willing to learn
• Two professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
