Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray modalities with current ARRT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 78-bed general hospital setting
• Scheduled shifts are Friday through Tuesday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Responsible for both CT scans (performed in a mobile trailer during equipment upgrade) and X-ray studies (in-hospital)
• Utilize Toshiba Aquillon 64-slice CT; transitioning to Canon CT scan in February, with training provided as needed
• Expected to work independently and cover a variety of imaging procedures
• Orientation and training on new CT equipment will be provided as necessary
• Mobile CT operations are in place during the hospital's equipment upgrade
• Candidates must be able to manage imaging duties with minimal supervision
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate within a 60-mile radius
• Required attire is not specified; confirm with facility prior to start

Requirements

• Current R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) certification
• Active CT license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray
• OR imaging experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to adapt to new equipment and work independently
• Two recent professional references required for consideration
