Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with Level 1 trauma and Siemens experience for night shifts at a teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

• Work in a teaching hospital with Magnet status and Level 1 trauma designation
• CT scan department with an average caseload of 6 scans per hour
• Night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Floating to other buildings within the facility may be required
• Epic charting system is used
• No on-call required
• Teal scrub tops and black bottoms are required
• All RTO must be included at the time of application and is subject to approval
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles away or, if local, will be considered case-by-case at a local rate
• Holiday shifts and emergency response participation may be required during hurricane season (June-November)
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• Parking during nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 payment for a parking pass

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications required
• At least 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience required; 1 year experience preferred
• Siemens scanner experience required
• Radiation badge must be provided by the clinician or agency
• Must have state licensure in hand at start; license required if applicable
• First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
• Must provide Social Security card and driver’s license for consideration
