Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NIHSS, and NRP certifications and flexibility with floating and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
  • Nurse-patient ratio of 1:2 in the Labor & Delivery unit
  • On-call required for 36 hours every 6 weeks
  • Every other weekend or two weekends per month required
  • Floating to other units required
  • Bi-weekly orientation sessions available
  • Holiday RTO (time off) is not permitted for major holidays and must be discussed onsite with management using a formal request process
  • First day and ongoing schedule details will be confirmed with the onsite manager

Requirements

  • Active RN license for TN or a compact state
  • Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), AWHONN, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and NRP
  • Recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing required
