Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a NH or compact RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications for a 12-hour evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) of a hospital setting
• Main ER consists of 21 beds and a 6-bed Minor Care (Fast Track) area
• Includes Minor Emergency Care Unit (MECU), triage, critical care, and trauma care areas
• Handles an ER patient volume of approximately 33,000 visits per year
• 12-hour evening shifts with variable start times
• Responsibilities include working in all areas of the ER including triage, fast track, minor emergency, trauma, and critical care
• Must provide documentation of flu vaccination during flu season
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as determined by department needs
• First-time travelers are eligible to apply

Requirements

• Active NH or compact state RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department RN experience required
• Must be able to pass Tele/ECG and medication tests if assigned to Milton or Plymouth campuses
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster, as well as current flu vaccine, are required unless a medical exemption is provided
• No candidates living within a 50-mile radius will be considered
• A 6-month separation is required for returning employees or travelers who worked at any affiliated facility
