Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for day/evening shifts in California.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a diagnostic imaging department specializing in CT scanning
• Four 10-hour shifts per week with no overnight shifts
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Rapid Response Crisis assignment
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and the support team
• Use professional judgment and critical thinking in all duties
• Up to 36 hours of call off may occur during the assignment
• SSN and DOB will be required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist
• Active ARRT and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license required if applicable
• Current peripheral vascular access certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
• Ability to maintain high accuracy in patient positioning and exposure techniques
