Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with night shifts and a current NY RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within a tertiary care hospital
• Patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:7 on the Med/Surg Tele unit
• Assignment unit will be determined at the time of offer
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend shifts are required
• Epic EMR proficiency is required
• Floating may be required within the hospital
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
• Scrub colors are any combination of navy and white
• Candidates cannot request time off for Labor Day
• Call off policy is a maximum of 3 shifts per 13 week assignment
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand is required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an RN
• Must have worked in an acute care setting within the last 6 months
• Must not be on a first time US assignment
• Proficiency with Epic charting system is required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
