Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in New York requiring a current NY RN license and at least one year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry hospital unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Required to work every other weekend
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• First time travelers are accepted
• RN will deliver direct patient care and monitor telemetry patients in a fast-paced environment
• Call-off policy permits up to three shifts off per 13-week assignment
• Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
• Two professional references from supervisors within the past two years are required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand
• Minimum of one year recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
