Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an AZ or compact license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital setting on Med/Surg and Telemetry units
Departments include Med/Surg (Floors 2, 4, 5) and Med/Surg/Tele Units
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Patient care involves both medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring
No local travelers; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
RTO requests must be less than 1 week
Required to provide patient care on multiple Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned
Returning travelers are accepted only if not permanent staff within the last 2 years
Compliance with all vaccination and hospital policy requirements is expected

Requirements

Active AZ or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing
No certifications should expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
Must have at least 2 years of total nursing experience
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Must not have worked as permanent staff at any facility in the health system within the past 2 years
