Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, valid ARRT certification, and BLS to join a busy hospital CT unit on a rotating evening and overnight schedule.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a hospital CT department
Rotating schedule: 1st week Monday to Wednesday 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 11:00 AM to 7:00 AM; 2nd week Monday to Wednesday and Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
No call required
Every other weekend requires Friday and Saturday overnight shifts (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Holiday shifts rotate with regular staff
Potential to float within skill set onsite or to nearby locations within 40 miles
May be required to assist in x-ray when CT is slow and x-ray is busy
EPIC EMR is used; experience with EPIC preferred
CT technologists may need to float to other sites within 40 miles as needed
Assisting in other modalities such as x-ray may be required based on department needs
Must be willing to work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled
All candidates must comply with the facility's radius rule for local candidates
No COVID vaccination required as of July 1, 2023
Travelers are encouraged to start extension discussions 45 days before contract end date
Only one submission to Ascension positions system-wide is allowed

Requirements

At least 1 year of recent CT technologist experience
Current ARRT certification required
Current BLS certification from AHA required
License required if applicable
Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address
Ability to provide full references, copy of driver’s license, and license verification
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
