Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a weekend night shift position requiring ARRT, BLS (AHA), and WI Radiographer license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a computerized tomography (CT) unit utilizing GE and Siemens CT scanners
- Adult patient population in a hospital setting
- Weekend night shift schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 17:30 to 06:00
- Call requirements based on department needs
- Potential for onsite floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
- Use of EPIC EMR system; EMR experience required
- Weekend and holiday coverage required when holidays fall on scheduled workdays
- Duties include operating CT equipment, performing diagnostic scans, and ensuring high quality imaging
- Team may require floating to other locations within 40 miles based on needs
- Travelers may need to discuss contract extensions with management 45 days prior to end date
- Scrub or dress code details will be provided upon assignment
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to facility radius rules
Requirements
- Current ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current WI Radiographer license required and must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum of 3 years CT experience required
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners required
- Previous travel experience required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and US address

Up to date equipment. Department manager and Supervisor are great.
Cons
Ascension is known for being cheap and it shows. Travelers are treated differently from staff. No equal distribution of patient workload. Intensivists do their own thing and could care less about your input.
