Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time day/evening shift position, requiring ARRT, Mammography, BLS, and MA state licensure.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a breast imaging/mammography department in a Level 1 trauma hospital
- Part-time schedule consists of 3x9 hour shifts, Monday through Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Shift start and end times may be adjusted as needed to support departmental coverage
- No on-call is required for this position
- You will perform mammography imaging and related duties in a high-acuity breast imaging department
- Coverage for holidays and departmental needs may occasionally impact your schedule
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers except for sterile processing roles
- Monthly parking fees may apply depending on your location
Requirements
- Active MA state license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification, Mammography credential, and BLS required
- Minimum of 18 months experience in mammography or a similar setting
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital environment is required
- Two professional references on file, including at least one from a manager with a performance evaluation, are required for consideration; one must be within 12 months and the other within 3 years
- Preferred that one reference be from the most recent temporary or travel assignment
- References from other travelers are not accepted
