Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 2nd shift assignment requiring ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification and experience in X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

Work in a 78-bed hospital providing diagnostic imaging services
Perform a variety of procedures including CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, OR, and orthopedics
Serve multiple departments such as oncology, neurosurgery, large orthopedics practice, and various clinics
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other weekend shifts from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM
No call required
Patient population includes adults and pediatrics across diverse specialties
Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a variety of clinical settings
Must be skilled in maintaining safety protocols and producing high quality films
Environment can become busy and requires adaptability
Housing may be available for rent directly from the facility
Team supports multiple clinic specialties in addition to hospital patients
Professional attire or scrubs required as appropriate for radiology

Requirements

Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification required
Current BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT and X-ray technologist
Experience performing diagnostic imaging, CT scans, X-rays, fluoroscopy, orthopedic and OR cases
Ability to work confidently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Proof of flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
License required if applicable
