Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license to work a float assignment with night shifts and multi-unit responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital with required floating to SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient populations and acuity may vary by unit assignment
• Must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
• Only one holiday time off (RTO) request will be approved per contract
• Returning employees must have a gap of at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Required to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing ACA
• Teamwork and adaptability are necessary due to frequent floating across multiple units

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 4 years of RN experience
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Experience working in ICU with ability to float to SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg
