Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in North Carolina requiring at least one year of recent ER experience and a NC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Adult and pediatric emergency patient population
• Responsible for providing emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Must submit all required documentation for consideration including licensure and certifications
• All documents must be up to date for assignment eligibility

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent ER experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS certifications required with no expiration within 30 days of start
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or accepted equivalent required for all ER units
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
