Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN with a current CA license and recent L&D experience for a critical need assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
• Patient population includes both standard and high-risk obstetric cases
• Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
• Primary responsibilities include monitoring mothers and infants, assisting with deliveries, and managing high-risk cases as assigned
• Employment duration is limited per HR policy; a break of at least 90 days is required after two years of assignment
• Both local and travel candidates are compensated equally
• Active licenses and certifications must be in hand at time of application; pending documents are not accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license is required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• High-risk OB experience within the past 2 years preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth are required for consideration
