Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and current BLS and Fluoro certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care hospital radiology/CT department
• Work exclusively with CT imaging and support the radiology unit as needed
• Patient population includes trauma level 3 cases
• 12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Procedures performed include all radiography and CT studies as required by unit
• Uses Cerner EMR, DR PACS, and Phillips imaging equipment
• Responsibilities include performing CT and radiographic imaging studies according to physician orders
• Work collaboratively with a team including MRI, Nuc Med, and Ultrasound technologists
• Must be flexible to cover additional weekends or holidays as needed
• Hospital provides 12 hours of orientation for new travelers
• Scrub attire or dress code information will be provided at orientation
• Candidates may not have worked at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year as a direct employee
• Travelers are expected to float within the department as needed based on facility policy

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting
• Current state license required if applicable
• Active BLS and Fluoro certifications required
• California CRT and Radiologic Technologist credentials required
• Preferred: ARRT certified in CT
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
• Must provide a copy of driver's license for consideration
• Two professional references: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, with dates of employment and rehire eligibility
