Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Med/Surg Tele Float RN with NY licensure, BLS certification, and EPIC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry float unit
• Night shift with 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; option to request 4x12 hour shifts
• Includes required floating to multiple units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system
• First time travelers are accepted for this position
• Responsible for providing care across various Med/Surg Tele units as part of the float pool
• Up to three call-off shifts permitted per 13 week assignment
• All scheduling or time off requests must be made at the start of the assignment

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of recent MS/Tele nursing experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
