Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend day shifts with at least 1 year of experience and required BLS and ARRT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT unit serving adult and geriatric patients
• Weekend block schedule: Friday to Sunday, 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• Primary responsibilities include performing CT scans of the abdomen, chest, head, and neck with contrast
• Utilizes equipment and systems such as Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba
• Call rotation required as part of the schedule
• Must be willing to work holiday shifts according to assignment period guidelines
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted and no requests off allowed during the first week
• Permanent or PRN staff must be away from all Piedmont facilities for a full year before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift or unit
• Assignment schedules do not allow for blocked scheduling
• All candidates must provide two supervisory references for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Comfortable performing CT scans with contrast
• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations
• Must complete full compliance requirements to begin assignment on time
• License required if applicable
