Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a compact or TN RN license and strong independent practice skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit serving all ages
• Unit includes 10 PP/GYN beds, 3 labor beds, 3 triage beds, and 11 newborn beds
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float to postpartum unit required as needed
• Every other weekend and call coverage required as needed
• Uses MedHost and Centricity Perinatal EMRs
• Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care to a diverse patient population
• Team-oriented environment that values professionalism
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Dress code allows any color scrubs except camouflage or non-approved logo attire
• COVID vaccination card, Social Security number, and date of birth required for consideration

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, HWC, and AWHONN
• Ability to work independently is required
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility in the past 12 months
• Permanent address cannot be within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidate cannot be employed full-time elsewhere
