Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT(CT) certification, and a current California CRT license for shifts including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic imaging department specializing in CT scans
• Primary modality is CT and Diagnostic Imaging
• 4x10 hour day/evening shifts with no overnight shifts
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and the radiology support team
• Exercise professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking in all job duties
• Scrubs not specified; please inquire for dress code requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Current California Certified Radiological Technologist License (CRT) required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Current peripheral Vascular Access certification required
• Must demonstrate understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
• High degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques is required
