Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with outpatient experience, IV skills, and proficiency with GE and Toshiba/Canon scanners.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient-focused CT lab environment
- Utilizes GE and Toshiba/Canon CT machines, with GE experience preferred
- EPIC EMR is used and Epic experience is required
- Schedule is four 9-hour day shifts per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- 13-week contract duration
- Potential to float to a nearby sister hospital
- Performs diagnostic quality CT procedures according to ARRT guidelines
- Strict RTO policy requires all time off requests to be submitted in advance with no changes allowed after submission
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Return travelers must be gone for at least 6 months before becoming eligible again
- Local candidates are accepted with the same pay rate as travelers
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved imaging technology program
- Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in radiography (no pending)
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Licensed in CT by OBMI or registered in CT by ARRT
- Current BLS certification from AHA within 90 days of hire
- At least 1-2 years of outpatient and IV experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions
