Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience, ARRT certification, and a valid Maryland license for a 3x12s day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital CT department
- Schedule consists of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- CT procedures performed include scans of the abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructions
- Uses GE and Siemens CT scanners
- EMR system: Cerner
- Potential to use PowerChart for ordering and documenting contrast administration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Duties include verifying patient information, reviewing exam requisitions, adjusting equipment, selecting protocols, and performing diagnostic imaging
- Responsibilities include timely exam completion, documentation, screening/consents, and scanning paperwork
- Preferred experience includes aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT
- A copy of your driver’s license and social security card will be required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years CT experience required
- Current BLS certification and ARRT certification, including advanced ARRT certification
- Maryland CT technologist license required prior to start date (license required if applicable)
- Experience performing scans of multiple body regions required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
