Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with active CA RN license, BLS, and NRP for a critical need day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Covers labor, delivery, high-risk obstetric patients
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Will provide patient care for laboring mothers and high-risk obstetric cases
• Preferred candidates will have experience managing high-risk deliveries
• Must adhere to hospital's policy regarding contingent worker tenure (maximum of two years without a break of at least 90 days)
• Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate
• Epic charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery experience
• Preferred: 5+ years recent L&D experience within the last 2 years
• Preferred: 1 year high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending documents not accepted
