Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a critical need Labor & Delivery position in California requiring a current CA RN license and advanced neonatal resuscitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Care for laboring patients and high-risk obstetric cases
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Provide nursing care for laboring mothers, including high-risk OB management
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary perinatal team
• Comply with hospital guidelines for dress code and shift scheduling
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Tenure policy prohibits working more than two years in total without a 90-day break

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• Preferred: BSN or related degree
• Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
• Preferred: 1 year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and DOB for consideration
