Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active TN or compact license and certifications in AWHONN fetal monitoring and NRP.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Women's Services unit specializing in Labor & Delivery
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week assignment contract
Care provided to laboring patients, mothers, and newborns
This position does not allow local candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility
References are required according to the state of licensure
US Social Security number and date of birth are required for consideration
Candidates must provide copies of certifications for employment consideration

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification required
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition certification required
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or ARC required
Candidates must have no employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
