Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) certification, BLS (AHA), and at least two years of acute care MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital setting as part of the Imaging Department
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 10-hour shifts
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• No local candidates within 25 miles of the facility
• The MRI Technologist provides clinical MRI services to ensure optimal departmental function
• Acts as a resource for MRI students and other technologists
• Responsible for maintaining magnetic safety for patients, staff, and self according to protocols and guidelines
• Expected to maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a safe and orderly state
• Completes ancillary tasks to support efficient departmental operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital MRI experience required
• Current ARRT(MR) certification required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• High school diploma and diploma from a certified school of Radiology required
• BS or MS in healthcare preferred
• Must have an active, unencumbered license (license required if applicable)
• Candidate must provide US Social Security Number for consideration
• Must submit two professional references, preferably from manager or supervisor within the past 12 months
• CPI certification is required
• No pending licenses will be accepted
